FTE Salary: Up to £34,044.00 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience) + Industry recruitment uplift reviewed annually (Dependent on qualifications and experience)
Actual Salary: Up to £20,242.37 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience) + Industry recruitment uplift reviewed annually (Dependent on qualifications and experience)
Contract Type: Part Time, Permanent
Working Hours: 22 hours per week

SGS College’s Construction Faculty have an exciting opportunity for a Painting and Decorating Lecturer.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
•Be responsible for curriculum planning, development and implementation in your department
•Ensure effective implementation of the College Quality Management system and Quality review schedule within the area
•Effectively manage all aspects of quality within the department to ensure development and progress for both staff and learners
•Effective use of management information to raise the quality of learning, including improving attendance, retention, achievement, progression and value added.
•Value diversity and promote equal opportunities
•Work within health and safety guidelines and be aware of your responsibilities for health and safety.
•Adhere to college policies and procedures, including Data Protection
•Be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and/or vulnerable adults
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
•Experience of working in the construction industry
•Minimum L2 trade qualification
•Ability to use initiative and take responsibility
•Team working
