Robert Half are recruiting for an experienced IT Manager to join a growing HealthTech organisation based in Milton Keynes on an initial 3 month contract. This role will lead IT operations, infrastructure, service delivery, and cybersecurity within a fast paced, regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain all IT infrastructure including networks, servers, cloud platforms, endpoints, and core business applications
* Ensure high availability, performance, resilience, and security of IT systems
* Oversee 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support and act as the senior escalation point
* Establish and continuously improve IT policies, procedures, and service standards
* Allocate workload effectively and provide technical leadership to the IT function
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology and automation
* Plan and deliver system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure enhancements
* Align IT initiatives with wider business objectives
* Manage cybersecurity risks including vulnerability management, patching, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
* Oversee third party vendors and enforce robust access control policies
* Work closely with senior leadership and department heads to understand business requirements
* Provide regular reporting on IT performance, risk posture, and ongoing initiatives
Experience Required:
* Proven experience in an IT Manager or senior IT leadership role
* Strong background in IT operations and service delivery management
* Experience managing support functions and driving service improvement
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Strong hands on expertise across infrastructure, networking, and end user computing environments
* Proven experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, networking, storage, security)
* In depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Entra ID (Azure AD)
* Strong administration experience across Microsoft Server and Desktop operating systems
* Hands on experience with Microsoft Hyper V virtualisation
* Expert knowledge of Microsoft Intune and endpoint/mobile device management
* Strong understanding of firewall technologies, network security principles, and the OSI model
* Experience managing network switching environments

* Initial 3 month contract
* Competitive day rate - Inside IR35
* Hybrid working - Milton Keynes based
