Responsibilities
* Support some of the UK’s largest infrastructure programmes applying lean principles to support the efficient delivery of a complex package of deliverables. You will own the delivery for selected work packages to ensure on-time delivery in line with project governance and assurance requirements. You’ll coordinate teams; managing priorities, balancing workloads and eliminating blockages, as well as reporting on performance and escalating issues to workstream managers. You’ll facilitate planning and problem-solving workshops, driving decision making on complex issues. Build strong working relationships with technical experts, internal stakeholders, and the client, including remote collaboration.
* Work with Project Performance Manager colleagues and other parts of the business to provide seamless support to an integrated project and client team.
What you’ll need
* Lean tools and techniques (e.g. Collaborative Planning, Visual Management, Last Planner).
* Experience in operating in a civil infrastructure/construction programme and/or project environment with multiple stakeholders/multi-disciplinary teams.
* Experience with client engagement and relationship building.
* Strong presentation and communication skills.
* Experience with Task Management Tools (e.g. Asana, Monday.com, Planner), Power Query, PowerApps, PowerBI, and/or Power Automate.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Teams.
* Investigative thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail; capable of managing production of large work packages and sustaining personal resilience.
