A talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher is required to join an Outstanding mixed school in Enfield for a permanent position commencing in September. The successful candidate will cultivate a love of music and develop musical skills in students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16), fostering their creativity and appreciation. Responsibilities * Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Music Teacher lessons covering performance, composition, and appreciation across Key Stages 3 and 4. * Prepare students effectively for GCSE Music examinations, ensuring a strong understanding of musical theory and history. * Foster a creative and collaborative environment where students can explore their musical talents and develop their performance skills. * Contribute to the organisation of extracurricular musical activities, such as choirs, bands, and instrumental ensembles. Requirements * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Music. * Demonstrated experience teaching Music Teacher lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4. * Strong musical skills, including performance ability on at least one instrument and a solid understanding of music theory. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring a passion for music in students of all abilities.
