Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a leading engineering business to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who’s equally at home with customers in the boardroom as they are discussing technical solutions with engineering teams.
Role & Responsibilities:
* From handling bids and proposals, to understanding customer needs, through to securing repeat business.
* Manage and grow key customer accounts while spotting new opportunities.
* Produce clear, compelling commercial and technical proposals.
* Lead customer contact during proposal and sales phases.
* Evaluate and manage risks (commercial, technical, and financial).
* Deliver against revenue, profitability and other KPIs.
* Influence strategy and contribute to long-term business growth.
* Working closely with internal teams, inspiring excellence, and ensuring every project starts on the right foot.
Skills & Experience:
* HND (or similar) in Engineering or Manufacturing would be desirable
* Proven track record in technical sales, business development, proposals, or bid management.
* Experience in securing profitable contracts and managing customer relationships.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication and customer care skills.
* Experience in energy, oil & gas, or power generation sectors.
* Account management background with strong relationship-building skills.
