About the Role
The successful candidate will join Nasstar’s Presales team, responsible for scoping and creating technical presales solutions and documentation, and supporting the sales community in client engagements.
The role requires a confident, experienced, and self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and interact effectively with clients at all organizational levels in both technical and business discussions.
Central to the role is the creation and review of solution-based proposals, demonstrations, RFI/RFPs, implementation strategies, designs, and Statements of Work.
The role involves liaising with other Nasstar teams, including Sales, Bid Management, Product & Propositions, Technical Delivery, Project Management, and Support & Managed Service teams. Flexibility for remote work and business travel is essential.
The candidate should have experience and confidence in advising clients on Wide Area and Local Area Networking technologies, with a focus on secure networking concepts such as SD-WAN, SD-Branch, and SASE architectures, including services like ZTNA, CASB, and FWaaS.
Responsibilities:
The Customer Solutions Architect operates in a presales capacity, engaging at a senior level to define and own the customer’s technology strategy, working consultatively to shape their thinking and build sales pipelines. The role involves handling high-value, complex requests from existing customers and responding to RFI/ITTs for secure connectivity products and services, managing technical components of sales processes, and creating customer-facing artifacts.
What we are looking for:
* In-depth Fortinet & Cisco/Meraki Presales Solutions Architecture experience, especially in SD-WAN & SASE / Secure Networking.
* Ability to produce sales-supporting documentation.
* Experience leading responses to opportunities, including content creation, formatting, quality assurance, and timely delivery.
* Strong client and team relationship-building skills.
* Experience interacting with customers and stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
* Confident, credible demeanor to influence clients and stakeholders.
* Ability to mentor other Presales Consultants.
* Support for cross-business opportunities.
* Proficiency in presenting and facilitating client workshops.
* Ability to identify client needs and propose technical solutions.
* Confidence in discussing relevant technologies.
* Good time management and multi-project engagement skills.
* Recognized IT certifications from vendors like Fortinet and Cisco.
* Experience leading customer strategy, engaging with vendors, and managing pipelines.
* Extensive technical experience in enterprise networking, security, WAN, and LAN solutions.
Knowledge of cloud security services, public cloud connectivity (ExpressRoute, Direct Connect), and experience with large network transformation projects connecting to cloud vendors like Microsoft and AWS are also required. Familiarity with Managed Network Services is a plus.
