Service Care Solutions are proud to be working in partnership with a respected charity delivering vital substance misuse services across South Yorkshire. This organisation is committed to supporting people in the criminal justice system by offering timely, person-centred interventions that encourage recovery and reduce reoffending.
They are currently recruiting for a dedicated and motivated Criminal Justice Case Manager to join the team and help change lives.
The Role: You’ll work directly with individuals referred via police custody suites and courts, conducting assessments and delivering brief interventions. This is a varied role that combines frontline support, care coordination, and multi-agency collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct assessments around substance misuse issues and risk evaluations for individuals in custody or on bail
2. Develop and implement tailored care plans
3. Deliver brief interventions and harm reduction advice
4. Refer service users into appropriate treatment pathways
5. Support clients through the early stages of recovery and encourage engagement
6. Attend court and custody environments across South Yorkshire
7. Work closely with partner agencies and contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings
8. Maintain accurate case notes and contribute to internal/external reporting
9. Promote wider access to housing, health, and support services
Essential Requirements:
10. A relevant degree such as Criminology, Social Work
OR
11. Diploma in Substance Misuse or equivalent
12. Level 3 Tackling Substance Misuse or equivalent qualification
13. Demonstrable experience working within substance misuse, criminal justice, or related fields
14. Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk assessment, and care planning
