Mechanical Fitter East London E6 £40-50k ppa The client has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join their team. This position is well-suited to a person who is ideally having Mechanical Fitter Responsibilities: Hands-On Assembly & Integration Build electro-mechanical and mechatronic assemblies according to CAD, drawings, and work instructions. Perform precise mechanical assembly, harness routing, sensor installation, and connectorization. Support first-article builds, iterations, and rapid design changes. Flag issues early and collaborate with engineering to implement fixes. Support Validation, Debug & Test Assist in functional testing of subassemblies. Identify and resolve build or performance issues in real time. Work closely with test and integration teams to ensure system readiness.Maintain Build Quality & Traceability Follow prototype production processes, including documentation and version control. Record issues, improvements, and build feedback to drive continuous improvement. Maintain cleanliness and organization of lab and build environments.
