GXO is currently seeking a talented and driven Transport Supervisor to join us on at our Mossend site. In this role youll ensure all shift activities are co-ordinated with daily & weekly tasks achieved, making best use of available resources, through the effective motivation and leadership of colleagues to continually improve performance levels and quality standards. This is a full time, permanent position, where youll be working 5 days per week, working hours of 2pm to 10pm, with occasional nights work. Pay, benefits and more: Youll be paid a salary of up to £33,500.00. What youll do on a typical day: Youll ensure the efficient running of the operation and drive operational performance through development of site systems and operational processes Youll identify and resolve operational issues and where appropriate escalate to the Transport Manager, ensuring that the transport department always remains legally compliant Youll analyse reports against KPIs and take actions to improve results Youll lead the transport team through the continued growth of the operation and introduce change positively What you need to succeed at GXO: Proven experience in a fast-paced transport environment, with a strong track record ofmanaging Demonstratedleadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and develop others Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities A hands-on leader who leads by example and thrives in a dynamic, high-pressure environment We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
