To work collaboratively across a range of disciplines including Transportation, Business Continuity and Emergency Resilience, Risk Management, People, Property, Finance, and Contracts. To develop and monitor the Directorate’s approach to compliance with regulations and procedures overall, as well as in identified areas of responsibility. We are looking for an officer who is passionate about improving the systems and processes that support our schools in Fife. As Compliance Officer, you will work collaboratively with members of the team, across a range of disciplines, including transportation; business continuity and emergency resilience; risk management; property and contracts, within which you will have clearly defined areas of responsibility. This will mean engaging and working with officers across other services and directorates. You will also have responsibility for the management of a group of Travel Escorts. The Person Educated to SCQF Level 7, which includes HNC or Advanced Highers or equivalent. Communicating openly and effectively. Initiating and managing continuous improvements to ensure contractual obligations are met. Analysing problems and determining creative and practical solutions. Developing good working relationships with colleagues. Ability to plan and organise workload, being able to work on own initiative and as directed by Service Management. Awareness of relevant legislation and best practice. Ability to deal with poor performance and manage attendance. Use IT systems effectively to perform improvement.
