Job Title: Former Care Workers Wanted

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.
Axcis Education is currently seeking former care workers who are looking to transition into a rewarding role within the education sector. If you have experience supporting adults or young people in care settings, your skills are highly valued in schools supporting students with additional needs. You will be working with children and young people who may have Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as autism, learning difficulties, or social, emotional and mental health needs. Your experience providing personal care, emotional support, and behaviour management will make a real difference in helping students thrive in the classroom.
Responsibilities
* Support pupils with additional needs in the classroom
* Provide one-to-one or small group assistance
* Help students with personal care when required
* Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
* Work closely with teachers and school staff to support learning and development
Requirements
* Previous experience as a care worker, support worker, or similar role
* A caring, patient, and supportive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
* Passion for supporting young people with additional needs
