Compensation: £24,242 / year
Permanent contract, 16 hours per week, 42 weeks per year. Shifts: Wednesday 10:00–15:30; Thursday & Friday 10:00–16:00.
Key Responsibilities
* Work as part of the Catering Team to ensure good standards of service for all clients; assist in delivering excellent customer service to staff and students.
* Assist in kitchens, counters, laundry, and other associated areas:
o General food preparation and cooking.
o Washing up and general cleaning within the department.
o Ensure items are packaged and labelled with correct allergen and date information.
o Assist with hospitality functions across the campus.
o Assist with laundry duties if required.
* Assist in Willow & Lime Tree Coffee Shop:
o Set up, serve customers, and clean tables and counters.
o Prepare service areas and equipment as instructed.
o Leave outlets clean and tidy for the next session.
o Use tills and handle money.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Good level of general secondary education.
* Commitment to keeping your professional knowledge up to date and improving capabilities.
* Willingness to formally record learning to demonstrate development.
* Understanding of Health and Safety and working safely for yourself and others.
* Knowledge of Food Safety Laws and allergens; willingness to undertake training.
