About the Role
My client is currently seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join their award-winning Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Team. Known for their supportive and collaborative approach, the in-house EHS team works closely with site teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects across the group.
Reporting to: Head of Group Health, Safety and Environment
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual with strong communication and influencing skills, who is capable of working independently. A background in the Construction industry is essential, and prior experience conducting audits is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and maintain a safe workplace free from health and environmental risks
Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
Conduct safety inspections in line with departmental standards
Provide clear, competent advice to site management and assist in resolving identified issues
Liaise effectively with external consultants as required
Communicate regularly with the wider EHS team on site matters
Attend relevant meetings and audits as part of the EHS team
Collaborate with site teams to proactively resolve safety challenges
Build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the organisation
