At South Rings Energy Ltd our engineers and surveyors have over 100 years of experience in heating installations. We install under a variety of Government schemes and ATP sectors towards reducing the Carbon Emissions to help the UK acheive the Net Zero target by 2050. We help to achieve this by installing energy saving measures in domestic properties across the UK. We specialise in the installation of low carbon technologies such as air source heat pumps and Solar PV as well as A rated gas boilers and various insulation.
As a rapidly expanding business we are looking to increase our survey team to accommodate an increase in installs across the business, so we are looking for 2 enthusiastic team players to join us who are able to liaise and communicate with internal team members and customers. There is one permanent position available and one on a 6 month temporary position available.
Your responsibilities as a heating surveyor will include but are not exhaustive:
* Travelling on a daily basis completing gas boiler and gas central heating technical surveys.
* Completing heating surveys for air source heat pumps and boilers
* Using PAS 2035 Retrofit app for inputting information
* Collecting property data at surveys
* Collecting essential information from customers
* Completing material order forms for procurement
* Completing pre site inspections
* Completing heating post inspections
* Reporting to our planning teams regarding survey visits
* Problem solving and assisting the full ECO team with technical questions
* Reporting in to the office once a week with updates and paperwork
Key skills (essential):
* Previous heating installation experience of 5 years (does not need to be of air source heat pumps but would be beneficial)
* Valid Gas Safety Qualifications
* Able to use iPads and have good IT skills
* Excellent Customer Service skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Able to communicate well with internal team members and external customers and field engineers
Desirable skills:
* Previous ECO knowledge of surveying for gas boilers, central heating systems and air source heat pumps.
* Previous construction related skills
The job will involve travelling across Northern and Central England, Wales and Southern Scotland, carrying out retrofit technical surveys and you will be required to attend the office once a week. Full training will be given to the successful candidate/s and is a great opportunity to grow and progress within our small but friendly business.

Salary: Up to £35,000.00 per year + 'Stay Away' Bonus + Expenses

* Surveying: 3 years (preferable) Full training given
