About The Role
Disrupt Talent is recruiting for a well-established exhibition design and build company seeking an experienced
Project Manager
to manage a variety of small, medium, and large-scale exhibition projects, as well as retail displays and fit-out projects.
This is an opportunity to work across high-profile projects in collaboration with an in-house team of experts in exhibition production, event management, and creative design. The successful candidate will be highly organised, confident under pressure, and able to deliver multiple projects simultaneously to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage projects from signed contract through to completion, liaising with sales, design, production, and clients.
* Oversee budgets, generate quotations, and ensure financial control of projects.
* Act as the main client contact, building strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Coordinate multiple projects, prioritising time and resources to meet all deadlines.
* Liaise with show organisers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth planning and delivery.
* Draw up technical plans and elevations, check artwork, and liaise with suppliers for production.
* Manage supplier relationships, placing and overseeing project orders.
* Lead on-site operations, coordinating crews and engaging with clients during build.
Required Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a Project Manager role within the exhibition design & build industry.
* Strong knowledge of exhibition build processes and on-site delivery.
* Experience working across major UK venues (Excel, NEC) and internationally (Europe essential; Middle East/USA desirable).
* Confident in client-facing roles, with proven ability to lead high-value projects.
* Strong understanding of production, with the ability to advise clients during the briefing stage.
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop), MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D packages such as 3D Studio Max would be an advantage.
* Skilled in budget management, scheduling, and reporting.
* Excellent multitasking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
