Our client, a leading organisation in the aerospace MRO sector, is currently seeking a B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join their facility at London City Airport. This permanent, full-time position involves working with a dynamic team in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine servicing and defect rectification on the Embraer E190 fleet
* Conduct scheduled and reactive maintenance in a high-frequency operational setting
* Participate in AOG recovery and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
* Maintain high levels of safety, quality, and performance
* Utilise modern technology and practices to meet operational challenges
* Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations
Job Requirements:
* UK CAA Part 66 B1.1 Licence with at least one type rating
* Ability to obtain an airport restricted pass and an airside driving permit
* Experience in both scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
* Embraer 190 type rating is desirable, though type training will be provided
* Flexible approach to work in a fast-paced environment
* Shift pattern: 5-5-4, guaranteed two weekends off per month
