Are you passionate about electronics, testing, and problem-solving? We're looking for a Hardware Test Engineer to join our team and play a key role in validating cutting-edge technology and supporting product development from the ground up.
🔍 What You’ll Do:
* Conduct hardware testing and provide on-site support at test houses
* Create and maintain automated test tools to improve testing efficiency
* Produce clear, concise test reports and present data-driven outcomes
* Collaborate with internal development teams to troubleshoot and identify improvements
* Support the creation of test plans for new products and technologies
* Perform impact assessments post-testing to evaluate performance and compliance
* Use scripting (especially Python) to enhance and automate testing processes
✅ What You’ll Bring:
* Strong background in Electronics and an engineering mindset
* Experience with electronic test equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analysers)
* Knowledge of compliance standards (EMC, Radio, Safety)
* Experience working closely with hardware/software developers
* Ability to analyse and clearly communicate test results across teams
* Full UK driving licence and access to a car (frequent travel to test houses required)
🌟 Nice to Have:
* Python scripting experience
* Experience managing a test workstack
* Familiarity with designing test cases and summarising technical data for diverse audiences
