ABOUT THE ROLE As a Chef de Partie at our beautiful Daylesford Organic store and cafe in Brompton Cross, you'll play a key role in delivering beautifully executed, seasonal dishes that reflect our commitment to quality and flavour. Working with fresh, thoughtfully sourced ingredients, you'll take pride in cooking to high standards and bringing our menus to life. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that calls for stamina, focus, and a genuine passion for food. You'll thrive in a busy kitchen environment, confidently running your section and keeping everything organised and service-ready. Calm under pressure, you'll communicate clearly with the team and lead by example during peak periods. Whether you've gained experience in a similar fresh-food or restaurant setting, or you bring a natural enthusiasm and solid foundations in cooking, this is an opportunity to grow your skills within the values-led environment of the Bamford Collection. SALARY: 13.47 per hour plus Tronc HOURS: Full time contract, 45 hours per week RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and execute dishes to the highest standard, consistently delivering menus in line with agreed specifications, quality benchmarks, and presentation standards. Take ownership of your section, ensuring daily mise en place is completed efficiently, thoughtfully, and with precision. Maintain exemplary kitchen standards, ensuring all internal and external audit requirements are met and upheld at all times. Work collaboratively and proactively with the wider kitchen team, offering support where needed to ensure smooth service and shared success. Mentor and inspire junior team members by sharing your skills, knowledge, and passion for seasonal, ingredient-led food. Ensure your section is fully prepared and impeccably organised for the following day, with fresh mise en place and clear handovers. Develop a strong understanding of our ingredients, products, and production methods, embracing our farm-to-table ethos. Comply fully with health, safety, and food hygiene standards, promptly escalating any H&S concerns to your line manager. Actively contribute to bringing our purpose to life by supporting meaningful social and environmental initiatives and playing a role in our journey as a certified B Corp. Inspire conscious living through your work, positively influencing colleagues, suppliers, and guests, and helping to create a lasting, positive impact.
