The Salaried GP Role - Castle Surgery is seeking a motivated, committed, and forward-thinking Salaried GP to join our friendly, multidisciplinary team. Located in the heart of Neath Town Centre, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment with an established patient list of 9,921. The role includes a potential future partnership for the right candidate.
Main duties of the job
Main Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality primary care services to registered and temporary patients
* Conduct 28 consultations per day (face-to-face and telephone)
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
* Prescribe in line with the practice formulary
* Support disease prevention and long-term condition management
* Offer leadership and clinical input to the wider team
* Mentor or support junior staff, Physicians Associates and medical students from Swansea University.
* Benefit from streamlined workflow admin responsible only for your own test results and letters
* Minimal medication queries handled by the pharmacy team
* Home visits required very occasionally, when Advanced Paramedic Practitioner is unavailable
* Attend Clinical meetings
* Promote QI projects
