The Role
:
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias), you’ll be key to keeping production moving in a fast-paced, high-care manufacturing environment. You will:
• Carry out electrical fault finding down to component level (invertors, relays, contactors, sensors, drives).
• Undertake mechanical work such as replacing bearings, motors, shafts, and rollers.
• Fault-find on PLC I/Os (no programming required).
• Use the CMMS system to complete PPMs and log work carried out.
• Maintain a variety of production machinery, including slicers, dicers, shredders, multi-head weighers, baggers, metal detectors, and conveyors.
About You:
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong electrical skills, ideally a 60/40 split in favour of electrical work.
• Confident in working on electrical systems and comfortable with both planned and reactive maintenance.
