Senior Chartered Building Surveyor - Exeter

This is an opportunity for an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor to step into a senior role within a respected, multi‑disciplinary property consultancy known for delivering impactful developments across both public and private sectors.
You’ll be based in a modern, open‑plan office on the outskirts of Exeter—complete with excellent M5 access—and benefit from a genuinely flexible working culture that supports home working and adaptable hours.
What You’ll Do
* Provide expert technical and commercial advice across building surveying and maintenance
* Lead on technical due diligence for commercial and residential properties
* Prepare specifications, drawings and risk assessments for new build and refurbishment schemes
* Undertake condition surveys, dilapidations, measured surveys and defect analysis
* Oversee quality assurance, ensuring compliance and client satisfaction
* Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders with clarity and confidence
What You’ll Bring
* Chartered RICS status (or equivalent), or commitment to achieving it
* Extensive experience in building surveying across varied project types
* Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and relevant legislation
* Ability to work autonomously or within a multi‑disciplinary team
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and client‑facing skills
* Full UK driving licence
