Role:
As a Portfolio Lease Manager, you will play a key role in driving the companies long-term growth by managing our store portfolio within a designated region. You’ll lead lease negotiations, support expansion strategy, and collaborate across teams to deliver commercially sound decisions that align with our values and goals. This role is integral to both opening new locations and managing existing store leases.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and optimise the store portfolio within your region, ensuring it supports long-term growth and profitability.
* Lead lease negotiations for new stores and existing sites (renewals, extensions, rent reductions, terminations, and breaks).
* Present business cases for approval, including market strategy, location analysis, and proposed terms.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Construction, Store Design, Legal, Accounting, HR, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, etc.) to align on timelines and deliverables.
* Support legal and construction processes to secure favourable lease terms while ensuring compliance with local requirements.
* Continuously analyse and improve the commercial performance of your portfolio.
* Contribute to broader business initiatives where Leasing support is required.
Requirements:
We’re looking for someone who is driven, commercially minded, and aligned with the companies values. You will ideally have:
* 3+ years of experience in leasing, real estate, or a similar role in the UK & Ireland retail market.
* Have experience in the entire lifeccyle of the portofolio leases.
* Strong understanding of lease contracts, retail environments, and key business drivers.
* Excellent planning and execution skills, with a self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset.
* Proven negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
* Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* A collaborative, flexible, and solutions-focused approach.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* A customer-first mindset with an understanding of omni-channel retail.
