Role Summary
The Finance Business Partner will play a key role within the finance function, supporting strategic and operational decision-making. Responsibilities include:
* Preparing and analysing financial reports to support effective business decisions.
* Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and wider financial planning cycles.
* Reviewing financial performance and identifying trends, working closely with departmental leads.
* Analysing variances against plans and forecasts, and recommending corrective actions.
* Supporting scenario planning and evaluating financial outcomes under varying business conditions.
* Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes.
* Enhancing financial systems and processes, including automation of reporting.
* Developing dashboards and visual tools to provide timely insights to key stakeholders.
* Ensuring adherence to financial procedures and internal controls.
* Providing ad-hoc support to the finance team, including audit-related requirements.
Skills / Attributes / Experience
1. Ideally a qualified accountant (or working towards qualification).
2. Strong communication skills with proven ability to partner with non-finance teams and senior stakeholders.
