We’re now looking for an AI Automation & Data Science Engineer to help build those foundations.
The Role
This is a hands-on role focused on designing and building AI-enabled workflows, data science tools and systems that power both internal delivery and client outcomes.
You’ll work as part of a small, high-impact team shaping how AI is applied across research, strategy and engagement – turning complex processes into scalable, automated solutions.
What You’ll Do
• Build AI-powered workflows
Design and implement automated workflows (e.g. using n8n, Claude Cowork and similar tools) to streamline research, analysis and delivery
• Develop data and insight systems
Create pipelines that bring together multi-source data (web, social, academic, client data) to generate structured evidenced insight
• Apply machine learning and NLP
Use Python, deep learning and modern AI techniques (including LLMs and RAG) to solve real-world healthcare challenges
• Support research and strategy teams
Translate complex data and model outputs into clear, usable formats that inform decision-making
• Engineer scalable solutions
Build robust, production-ready systems with a focus on performance, reliability and cost-efficiency
• Manage cost
Build locally hosted, cached and distributed solutions (SLMs, open source, Mac mini) to manage cost with appropriate risk management (backups, secutity).
• Contribute to AI foundations
Work with the wider Frontera Vie team to define and evolve how AI is embedded across the business
What We’re Looking For
* Strong experience with Python and building end-to-end data/AI workflows
* Hands-on experience with workflow automation tools (e.g. n8n, Claude Cowork or similar)
* Understanding of machine learning, NLP and SLM/LLM-based systems
* Experience working with multi-source data and insight generation
* Ability to build and deploy cost effective scalable systems (cloud experience a plus)
* Interest in healthcare, life sciences or medical data and augmenting people to do their best creative and behavioural science led thinking
* Strong problem-solving mindset – able to move from idea to working solution
