Bid Development Officer

£33,987 - £41,757 per annum

A minimum of 37.5 hours per week

About the Role:

* Identifying and monitoring external funding opportunities aligned to Hartpury's strategic priorities
* Preparing clear summaries and recommendations to support bid and no bid decision making
* Supporting the coordination and preparation of funding applications, including written content, costings, impact statements and quality assurance
* Working with academic teams, professional services and external partners to gather inputs and ensure timely delivery of bids
* Maintaining accurate records of bid activity and contributing to progress and strategic reports
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of external funding processes and templates

About You:

* Experience of supporting funding bids, tenders or grant applications
* The ability to interpret complex guidance and translate it into clear, practical advice
* Strong written communication skills, with experience drafting structured and persuasive content
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet competing deadlines
* A collaborative approach and confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders
* High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
