Buchlyvie Primary School is seeking to appoint a Principal Teacher 0.4 FTE on a Thursday and Friday. Buchlyvie Primary is in a rural location but is easily accessed by good road connections. The school is at the heart of the village and is very well supported by parents and the community. Our outdoor space has lots of opportunities for outdoor learning. The successful candidate will be highly qualified with expertise in teaching composite classes. As a Principal Teacher, your main purpose and objectives are to lead with and deputise for the Head of School in the management of the service. You will take a lead role in the management, planning and implementation of high quality learning and teaching. We are looking for someone who is able to enthusiastically lead and support creativity including digital skills across the curriculum. We are looking for a Principal Teacher who will confidently lead and support collegiate practice and teamwork across the school; facilitating, co-ordinating and leading curriculum planning and curricular developments. You will inspire, motivate, support and challenge colleagues in the development of their own practice.
