Responsibilities
* Ensure colleague safety and provide a sense of assurance.
* Provide a smart, visible, proactive security presence and deterrent.
* Effective conflict management, always taking control of incidents.
* Control access and egress, conduct security patrols to deter crime.
* Engage with the public proactively and professionally.
* Identify hazards, respond appropriately, provide guidance, information and direct customers as a first point of contact.
* Follow safety and security processes and procedures and work as part of a team building strong relationships.
Qualifications
* Minimum 18 years old.
* Licence requirement by the Security Industry Authority – SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence holders.
* UK driving licence required.
* Previous experience in security is an advantage but not essential.
* Friendly, approachable, professional and punctual.
