Position Purpose
To own the complete end-to-end MRO solution architecture across all business scenarios, ensuring SAP and iMRO capabilities are designed, integrated, and governed in alignment with industry best practice and client objectives. The MRO Solution Architect provides design authority across all scenarios and domains, shapes the future-state operating model, and drives architectural decision-making at programme level.
Key Objectives
* Define the architectural vision, principles, and roadmap for the MRO programme.
* Own and govern the integrated SAP + iMRO solution across all workstreams: Engineering, Planning, Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Engagement, and CAMO.
* Lead architectural workshops with senior client stakeholders and programme leadership.
* Provide cross-domain guidance to ensure cohesion across process, data, integration, and compliance.
* Evaluate and approve scenario-level designs produced by Senior Domain Experts.
* Drive alignment with industry best practices and regulatory considerations.
* Provide direction on cross-functional dependencies, integration touchpoints, and end-to-end process flows.
* Support pre-sales, solution shaping, RFP responses, and roadmap planning.
* Mentor Senior MRO Specialists, Senior Domain Experts, and future architects.
Role Competencies
* Expert-level SAP EAM/PM knowledge with deep cross-module integration (MM/IM/WM/PP/PS/SD).
* Extensive hands-on iMRO experience across multiple scenarios (Aircraft, CAMO, Complex Asset, Component Repair).

* Strong understanding of data, master data governance, technical architecture, and integration frameworks.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience Required
* Extensive SAP EAM/PM design authority experience (10–15+ years).
* Deep hands-on MRO experience across multiple scenarios (mandatory).
* Multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations in MRO/maintenance-heavy industries.
* Strong cross-functional integration knowledge (PM/MM/WM/IM/PP/PS/SD).
* Strong understanding of aviation / defence regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g. EASA, Part-M, Part-145, equivalent military standards).
* Strong consulting background with client-facing leadership.
* Relevant degree in engineering, IT, aviation, or related discipline.
* Proven track record of leading large SAP programmes.

* SAP Architect-level certification(s)
