About the Role:
Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Glemsford
Type: Full:time, Permanent
Hours: Double days, Monday to Friday (6:00 : 14:00, 14:00 : 22:00)
Salary: GBP42,800 : GBP49,800 (dependant on experience) with overtime available too

Were hiring a Maintenance Engineer to maintain and improve production and site services equipment through planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance. Youll be crucial in fault finding, scheduled maintenance, and supporting other engineers.
Key Responsibilities:

Fault finding and problem solving on production and site services equipment.
*
Carrying out planned maintenance schedules.
*
Providing technical support to production teams to maximise equipment uptime.
*
Identifying and carrying out Engineering improvement projects.
Requirements:
*
Apprentice trained in Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering.
*
NVQ level 3 in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
*
Proven experience in a high:volume production engineering environment.
*
Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Excel).
*
Ability to work shifts, cover additional hours, and participate in a rotational call:out system after training.
Preferred Skills:
*
P and ID and Engineering drawing knowledge.
*
PLC knowledge.
*
Food Production Engineering background.
