It’s important to have a good understanding of leadership, managing resources, and maintaining open lines of communication for project success.
Requirements to be an Approved Electrical Supervisor
* Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification.
* 18th Edition Certificate.
* AM2S Certificate.
* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
* A UK Driving Licence.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* An in-date ECS card.
* Testing and Inspection 2391 Certificate.
General roles and responsibilities
* Support the Project Manager in writing RAMS for jobs.
* Develop and learn how to write programmes.
* Manage and track materials including ordering, overseeing the delivery and ensuring they are used efficiently.
* Complete an electrical site safety report before work commences.
* Ensure NICEIC certificates are fully completed and issued for sign-off.
* Inspecting and assessing work throughout the job and on completion of.
* Diagnose and resolve any issues that arise during the project.
* Collaborate with the team to find solutions to technical challenges.
