About the Role
As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the Key Stage 1 curriculum to pupils aged 5–7. You’ll deliver engaging lessons in core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science, while fostering creativity and curiosity through wider curriculum activities. You will also:
* Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
* Hold a recognised Primary Teaching Qualification (QTS or equivalent)
* Strong classroom management and ability to support pupil progress
* Experience working in primary schools, ideally within KS1
* Knowledge of phonics and early literacy development is desirable
