The HSEQ Manager is responsible for the health, safety, environment and quality aspects of the business.
Responsibilities:
· Provide expert health and safety advice and knowledge to the business.
· Foster a positive and proactive safety culture through engagement, leadership, empowerment, and accountability.
· Monitoring, evaluating and reviewing existing, new and upcoming health and safety legislation and ensuring the business has systems, policies and practices in place to meet legal compliance.
· Carrying out management system audits and inspections and managing a program of corrective/preventative actions for continuous improvement to ensure the highest standards in technical competence and safe working practices are met.
· Ensuring that existing certifications and standards are maintained for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
· Carry out investigations into all accidents and near-miss incidents and record the findings and implement changes.
· Acting as a role model and a champion for HSEQ in the company.
Education, experience and skills:
· Have or working towards a NEBOSH General Safety certificate.
· Previous experience as a HSEQ Manager / Safety professional.
· ISO certification knowledge
