An interior design/joinery business based in West London that offers bespoke design & build services for their clients. Thepany is actively looking for a Finance Administrator to join their team to be the main point of contact within the accounts (posting invoices, bank reconciliations, payments etc.) and also be the face of the business, meeting & greeting clients once a week. If you are an individual who has good experience of accounts and hasmercial experience with meeting with customers/clients - this may be the role for you!
Your new role
As the Finance Administrator, you will be responsible for:
1. Day-to-day bookkeeping
2. Posting invoices onto Sage 50
3. Bank reconciliations
4. Bank payments
5. WIP Management - reviewing projects/jobs and liaising with the external accountant to provide information for management accounts
6. VAT returns
7. Cash flow reports
Additional responsibilities:
8. Ordering office supplies
9. Acting as front of house with clients once a week
10. Ad-hoc admin
What you'll need to succeed
11. Experience in Sage 50 - essential
12. Experience of VAT returns - desirable but not essential, can be trained
13. Experience in accounts, posting invoices to correct nominal codes on the system, bank recs, understanding of cash flow etc. - essential
14. Goodmunication skills and approachable - essential as you will be liaising with clients regularly
