An opportunity has arisen for an operational HR Business Partner to join the team covering our regions based in the North - ESD, United Utilities, Hattersley and Northern Ireland. You will partner and offer support to the business in all aspects of HR, focussing on succession & talent, learning & development, coaching and delivering our People Plan within your regions.
Key responsibilities
1. Working with the central teams to implement key initiatives relating to areas such as talent, performance management, diversity and inclusion, wellbeing.
2. In partnership with managers take ownership of implementing the people plan.
3. Coaching Managers and individuals.
4. Maintain positive relationships with the central HR functions.
5. Managing all employee relations issues in your regions (disciplinary, grievance, performance management, sickness absence etc)
6. Support the Recruitment team in future talent processes such as graduate recruitment.
7. Undertake and support HR project work as identified
8. Work closely with the L&D team to provide support in the co-ordination of training & development for managers and their teams in line with performance management tools.
9. Work with L&D team to ensure key deliverables are met, monitored and reported.
10. Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.
11. You will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong influencing skills a flexible approach, pro-active self-starter, action orientated, resilient with a can-do attitude.
