We are seeking a dynamic senior leader to drive strategic planning andSystem-wide long-term transformation on behalf of Gloucestershire GPCollaborative. This role is ideal for someone operating at Director orAssistant/Deputy Director level who excels in system leadership and complexchange.

Practicalities

Thisis a leadership role, entailing frequent in-person meetings, but some home-workingis possible.

The role will be based at our newly built, bespoke offices in centralGloucester, with frequent travel to other sites in Gloucestershire, andoccasional travel elsewhere in the UK.You must be able to travel independently.

We offer flexibility about hours, with a minimum of 28 per week over at least 4 days, up towhole-time equivalent (37.5). Providedthat you make yourself available to attend meetings etc, working hours can beflexed, to suit family or other commitments.

Eligible for the NHS pension scheme.

Main duties of the job

Lead strategic development, planning, and deliveryof transformation programmes across Gloucestershire, working with systempartners including the ICB, NHS providers, local authorities, andvoluntary/community sectors.

Shape and implement strategic direction and drivehigh-impact change programmes on behalf of Gloucestershire GP Collaborative.

Identify strategicopportunities in Neighbourhood Health, ensuring the Collaborative is wellplaced as an equal and trusted system partner

Job responsibilities

Leaddevelopment of GGPC strategy aligned with local System transformation goals.

Oversee major cross-sector transformation programmes as agreed with Systempartners

With theGGPC Summit and Boards direction, establish annual planning cycles, witheffective delivery structures in place for agreed goals.

Ensuregovernance and monitoring systems are in place to support management of GGPCsstrategic development and plan, and to provide assurance to the GGPC Board.

Incollaboration with System partners, ensure governance and monitoring systemsare in place to support management of System transformation goals, and to provideassurance to the GGPC Board and to System oversight mechanisms.

Buildstrong relationships with NHS partners and wider sectors.

Lead business cases, governance, and programme delivery.

Manage and develop transformation and strategy teams.

Experience

* Experience operating at Director or Assistant/Deputy Director level or equivalent
* Leading large-scale transformation or service redesign programmes
* Experience working within, or in partnership with, primary care
* Cross-sector system leadership experience
* Leading and developing diverse teams
* Developing strategies, business cases, transformation plans
* Budget management and financial planning
* Programme governance and risk management
* Use of improvement methodologies (QI, Lean)


Other

* Able to travel independently and in a timely manner between multiple sites within Gloucestershire on a frequent basis and at short notice.
* Able to travel independently and in a timely manner to sites outside Gloucestershire (though within the U.K.) on occasion.


Knowledge

* Understanding of NHS structures and primary care
* Knowledge of IC stabilization and SPC integration processes
* Knowledge of national NHS policy and contracts
* Awareness of digital transformation and data-driven improvement
* Knowledge of change management and OD
