Belgrave Terrace is a homely residential service in South Shields, South Tyneside for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. This includes dementia, health related issues and mental health. A generous referral scheme. What you’ll be doing: Assist in managing the care of the people that live with us, monitoring the quality and delivery of the service. Leading by example, confidently motivating and developing the team to deliver a high-quality provision. Promoting independence with the people we support with all aspects of personal care, cooking, cleaning, key working and general life skills. 36 hours per week. Shift times 8 am to 6 pm and 6 pm to 10 pm. Some sleep ins will be required; this will involve working 6 pm to 10 pm then sleep in until 8 am. Weekend and bank holiday working is also required. Who you are: An existing Senior Support worker or an experienced Support Worker looking to progress. You have the confidence and ability to motivate and lead a team. You will be adventurous, outgoing, and willing to participate in the chosen activities of the people we support. A motivated and passionate individual that can make a difference to the lives of the people we support. An NVQ level 2 and 3 is desirable.
