Academics are currently recruiting for an experienced and confident HLTA to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Gloucester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated HLTA who enjoys variety or is looking to secure a long-term placement within a supportive school environment.

As an HLTA, you will provide PPA cover across a couple of year groups, support learning across the curriculum, and work closely with teaching staff to ensure pupils remain engaged and make strong progress.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of year groups
Provide PPA cover when required
Support small groups and individual pupils to achieve their potential
Promote positive behaviour and effective classroom management
Assist with monitoring and tracking pupil progress
Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to maintain high standardsRequirements:

HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
Previous experience covering whole classes
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)What We Offer:
