Working Hours: Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday. 10:00 – 22:00 About the role: As a member of the Picking Team, a Despatch Operative receives goods in, stores and organises stock. Then picks, wraps and loads customer orders, ensuring accuracy and quality of the products. Key responsibilities include: Assisting with goods in, scanning and storing products and raw materials. Wrapping, scanning and palletising products. Issuing products to production teams to match production plans. Manual handling which may include lifting equipment and products up to 20kg. Loading and unloading vehicles using manual handling equipment. Carrying out all duties in line with training, food safety and health and safety guidance. What you’ll need to be successful: Team work and communication skills. Attention to detail and a flexible attitude to work tasks. Experience with manual handling equipment. (Pallet trucks) FLT experience/licence is desirable but training will be given. Good understanding of English and basic numeracy skills. Who are we, and what do we do?
