About The Role

Liaising with IBP Operations Planning, Production, Supply Chain, and stakeholders to generate an agreed near-term production plan, maximizing capacity utilization and labor effectiveness, supporting time-phased work order generation. The Production Fulfilment Planner will be based at our Barnstaple site. This role requires being onsite 5 days a week.
The salary for this role is up to £33k, depending on experience.
What you'll do
1. Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure on-time, on-cost, and on-quality delivery while maximizing capacity utilization, maintaining the Master Production Schedule with a circa 6-month horizon.
2. Monitor MRP action lists for accuracy to plan.
3. Set lead times for the product portfolio in liaison with Production.
4. Maintain inventory parameters within AccSC (e.g., ROP, Batch Size, Safety Stock) to balance inventory with OTOCOQ.
5. Identify bottlenecks early and adjust schedules to overcome constraints, optimizing work centers and routings.
6. Prepare route sheets and works orders, including multi-operation subcontract processing, with detailed manufacturing operations and special requirements.
7. Maintain visual management of performance against schedule and KPIs.
8. Liaise with stakeholders on engineering change requests, review, communicate impacts on schedules, and maintain effectivity dates in AccSC.
9. Provide progress/status updates to Delivery PMs as required.

The skills you need
* Experience in material and production planning, familiar with tools and processes
* ERP experience in manufacturing
* Understanding of product lifecycles
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Autonomous, methodical, accurate, with attention to detail
* Engineering background (NVQ3, ONC or equivalent) is desirable
