About This Role
Student Counsellor, Term Time Plus 3 Additional Days, Monday and one other day to be agreed, 15 Hours Per Week
Bede Academy has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join us as a Student Counsellor.
The post holder will be well-qualified, empathetic, and dedicated, bringing:
* A Post-Graduate Diploma or Masters level qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy (preferably in Children and Young People’s Counselling)
* Professional accreditation (BACP, IKCP, or BPC)
* A deep sense of empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity
* Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
* A high level of emotional resilience, integrity, and professionalism
* The ability to work collaboratively within a team and uphold strict confidentiality
* A strong commitment to supporting the emotional wellbeing and personal development of all pupils
