Darlington Borough Council are seeking to recruit a Team Leader in Waste Services to assist in the management of the operational waste service, ensuring effective and efficient service delivery and high standards of customer service. As well as assisting in maximising opportunities for increased trade waste business, you will perform operational duties and service monitoring, to ensure efficient service delivery and liaise with the Fitting Shop on scheduling repairs, servicing and maintenance of vehicles allocated to the waste service, to minimise service disruption.
The successful candidate will have a full LGV licence and three years' experience of working in refuse, recycling or another related field. You will have knowledge of managing health and safety requirements in the workplace and be able to motivate staff and deliver training sessions where required.
