Surface Mount Technician (Electronics Manufacturing)
Location: Diss, Norfolk
Schedule: Mon to Fri – Flexi time
Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 (negotiable for the right person & experience)
Working within the Surface Mount department, you will play a key role in the manufacture of high‑quality electronic assemblies, operating specialist equipment and supporting production activity across the team.
Responsibilities
* Read and follow instructions, established procedures, and production requirements
* Set up machines and equipment for production runs, including calibration and cleaning
* Monitor output to identify machine‑related faults or production issues
* Resolve issues that arise during the assembly process
* Check output to ensure products meet required quality standards
* Follow handling procedures to protect and preserve products
* Carry out relevant equipment maintenance activities
About you
We welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds, including electronics manufacturing, assembly, production, engineering, or technical environments. Previous manufacturing or technical experience would be beneficial but is not essential. Full training will be provided.
