The Role
As a Project Controls Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will lead on the implementation and management of project controls measures on one our most complex and projects.
Day-to-day, you’ll manage project control measures relating to scope, cost, time, risk and quality whilst helping to support the on-going development of the project controls capability.
1. Establish, maintain and adhere to specific project controls governance
2. Manage scheduling staff to develop and manage integrated project schedules
3. Provide regular management reporting both internally and externally
4. Integration and alignment of project controls toolsets
5. Establish a reliable and accurate earned value management (EVM) system
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements
Essential experience of the Project Controls Manager
6. Project controls experience on a complex programme
7. Knowledge of project controls approaches and practices
8. Experience of applying and assuring project controls governance measures
9. Use of toolsets such as Primavera P6, MS Project, RiskHive etc
10. Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams
Qualifications for the Project Controls Manager
11. Degree level qualified in relevant subject
12. Professional certifications advantageous but not essential
