Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Workshop Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and assembly of various equipment and machinery. Your expertise will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance, while also providing exceptional customer service.
Duties
* Prepare and maintain associated equipment maintenance records, manifest, commercial invoice, vendor & client records in line with the company's QMS and document control procedures.
* To undertake basic repairs & services of company and client equipment, liaise with repair /calibration suppliers.
* To prepare, package & despatch of company equipment.
* Provide management information on status levels within the Workshop environment.
* To ensure the adherence & supporting all personnel on the movement of outbound goods & deliveries according to company procedure.
* Support traceability and record control in line with ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17020 requirements.
* Keeping the workshop area including contents clean & organised.
* To adhere to company policies and support the continual improvement measures and objectives.
* Contribute to the effective implementation of Inspectahire's Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with documented procedures and quality objectives.
* Maintain confidentiality of client and company data and act impartially in all duties in line with ISO/IEC 17020 requirements.
* Maintain personal competency through training and development, participating in reviews and refresher sessions as required under Inspectahire's QMS.
* Follow company health, safety and environmental procedures as part of legal and ISO management system compliance.
* Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by line management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these.
Essential Skills
* Interest in electrical / mechanical components.
* Competent Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Packages.
* Good communication skills to enhance working with colleagues and clients.
* To be able to work to deadlines under own initiative or in teamwork endeavour.
* Full U.K. Driving License
Desired Skills
* · Ability to fault find down to component level
* · Experience of providing customer service in a technical environment
* · Electromechanical Qualification or Studying towards one.
* · Forklift Driving Certificate
* · PAT Tester Certificate

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
