A fantastic opportunity has opened for a dynamic and experienced Café / Grab & Go / Bar Manager to lead a fast-paced front-of-house operation within a prestigious venue in Central London.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume, grab-and-go or casual dining environment, delivering quick, efficient service and fresh, great-quality food to a wide mix of customers.
The operation includes a bustling café serving barista coffee, snacks, and light meals, a vibrant terrace space, and a small bar & event area for private functions and internal gatherings.
You’ll play a pivotal role in driving the customer experience—ensuring fast service, excellent standards, and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and oversee daily operations across a busy café, bar/event space.
2. Support & coordinate internal functions and events.
3. Drive sales through engaging offers, promotions, and menu ideas.
4. Recruit, train, and develop a motivated front-of-house team.
5. Maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
6. Oversee stock, ordering & budgets to ensure cost-efficient operations.
7. Respond quickly & professionally to customer feedback and operational issues.
About You:
8. Proven management experience in a busy café, coffee shop, grab-and-go, or casual dining setting.
9. Confident in high-volume service with strong focus on speed, quality, and consistency.
10. Passionate about great food, coffee, and delivering a brilliant customer experience.
11. Commercially aware, with a good grasp of budgets, margins, and cost control.
12. Excellent people skills—able to engage, motivate, and lead a diverse team.
13. Organised, adaptable, and proactive in finding solutions on the go.
