A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Electrical Engineer for a company in the Cornwall area.
With no day ever being the same the Electrical Engineer role offers an opportunity to work with a leading manufacture company and offers career development within a first-class organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
Deliver low-voltage electrical design and oversee installation of solar PV systems
Carry out both scheduled and emergency maintenance across renewable energy assets
Monitor and review system performance on a rotating schedule, including weekend coverage
Troubleshoot faults efficiently, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime
Assess operational data to identify performance improvements
Produce clear and accurate technical documentation and reportsKnowledge, Skills & Experience:
Recognised electrical qualifications (City & Guilds 2365, 2391, and BS7671 18th Edition or equivalent)
At least 5 years' hands-on experience within the electrical or renewable energy sector
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities
Detail-oriented with a structured, process-driven mindset
Effective communication and time management skills
Proficient in basic IT and reporting tools
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to travel nationwide and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekendsPackage and Benefits:
