This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Management Accountant to work closely with senior leadership, playing a key role in shaping financial strategy, improving reporting visibility, and supporting ongoing growth initiatives including integrations and acquisitions. Responsibilities
* Produce monthly management accounts with supporting commentary and performance insights
* Deliver KPI reporting and analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making
* Present clear financial information to senior stakeholders
* Lead the annual budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis
* Partner with operational managers to strengthen accountability and performance tracking
* Provide commercial insight on the financial implications of strategic initiatives
* Oversee day-to-day finance operations including reconciliations, VAT, expenses, and payables/receivables
* Support alignment of reporting with wider financial planning and analysis activity
* Improve financial systems, controls, and reporting processes to support scalability
* Monitor cost performance against budgets and identify improvement opportunities
* Assist with financial integration, reporting, and analysis relating to acquisitions and mergers 📈
Requirements
* CIMA qualified (or equivalent professional qualification)
* Proven experience producing management accounts within a growing or evolving organisation
* Strong financial planning and analysis capability
* Advanced Excel skills and strong systems proficiency
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Commercial mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insight
* Experience supporting business change, transformation, or scale environments
* Experience using Power BI (desirable)
