Part time 16 hours alternate weekend working.
Responsibilities
As an Activities Coordinator you will plan and implement a variety of activities designed to delight and engage residents. You will support the Home Manager in organising fundraising events, encourage residents to socialize, develop new activity ideas rooted in residents’ hobbies, and involve the care homes team in activities. Your approach will always be guided by kindness and compassion.
Qualifications
• Experience working with vulnerable individuals and ideally developing activity programmes.
• Excellent planning, organisational and IT skills with the ability to manage time efficiently.
• Strong communication skills – genuinely considerate and kind when interacting with residents and colleagues.
• Ability to recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and to raise concerns with appropriate escalation procedures. All staff must complete safeguarding training suitable to their role.
