Location: Hybrid (London 3 days a week + remote within the UK)

We’re now looking for a Sales Manager to take our products to market, drive new business, and be a key player in esbconnect’s next stage of growth.
The role:
You’ll be the driving force behind revenue growth - building your own pipeline, creating meaningful conversations, and turning opportunities into long-term clients.
This is not a role for someone who just follows sequences or waits for inbound leads.
It’s for someone who’s creative, curious, and thrives on building personal connections - both online and offline.
You’ll have full ownership of the sales cycle: from identifying prospects and opening doors, to pitching, proposing, and closing deals. You’ll work directly with the CEO and client services team to shape proposals, refine messaging, and deliver results.
Your responsibilities:
* Build, manage, and convert your own pipeline across esbconnect’s full product suite (Optivo, MirrorMail, Customer+, InboxExtend)
* Proactively identify and approach target brands and agencies - using creativity and persistence to get noticed
* Lead discovery calls, understand client challenges, and craft data-driven solutions that deliver measurable growth
* Create and deliver compelling proposals and presentations with support from the CEO and client services team
* Manage deals through to close - negotiating terms, handling objections, and ensuring smooth handover to delivery
* Build a personal presence and network across LinkedIn and industry events - positioning yourself and esbconnect as leaders in the space
* Collaborate closely with marketing to align outreach with campaigns, events, and product launches
* Contribute ideas and insights to continually improve our approach, messaging, and go-to-market strategy
Who you are:
* 3–6 years’ experience in sales, business development, or partnerships - ideally within marketing, media, data, or martech
* Proven track record of winning and growing client accounts in a target-driven environment
* Entrepreneurial mindset - you’re proactive, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, scale-up environment
* Creative thinker who knows how to stand out in a crowded inbox - through smart outreach, storytelling, and human connection
* Confident communicator and presenter, equally at ease in C-suite conversations and fast-paced pitches
* Curious about AI, automation, and the future of marketing - you use tools intelligently but never forget the human touch
* Strong social presence or enthusiasm to build one - you understand that sales today happens as much on LinkedIn as in the boardroom
