About The Role
The Advisory Services Solutions Principal is a senior, customer-facing role within Dell Technologies' Presales team, focusing on Multicloud, Data & AI, Resiliency, and Security solutions. In this position, you will lead the design, development, and presentation of complex service solutions tailored to customer needs, often engaging with C-level executives and senior stakeholders. Your expertise will guide clients through their digital transformation journeys, ensuring that proposed solutions align with strategic business objectives and technical requirements. You will collaborate closely with sales teams, solution partners, and delivery organizations to craft proposals, respond to RFPs, and facilitate seamless transition from presales to delivery. The role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of enterprise services, a passion for technology, and the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
Qualifications
* Expert knowledge of Multicloud services and proficient understanding of Data & AI and Resiliency & Security solutions.
* Extensive presales experience, including solution architecture, requirements gathering, scope definition, effort estimation, and proposal development for large enterprise and government clients.
* Strong understanding of services P&L, cash flow management, risk analysis, and commercial models such as Fixed Price, T&M, and third-party contracts.
* Proven ability to influence and negotiate with clients and partners at executive levels, including drafting and reviewing Statements of Work (SoW).
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
* Demonstrated experience working in multicultural and international environments.
* Passion for emerging technologies and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
* Lead customer engagements by delivering compelling presentations and workshops at senior levels, articulating the value and impact of Multicloud, Data & AI, and Resiliency & Security solutions.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop end-to-end service solutions that meet customer requirements and strategic objectives.
* Develop and review proposals, Statements of Work, and effort estimates, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and Dell standards.
* Support the sales process by providing technical expertise, solution guidance, and strategic insights to drive business growth.
* Contribute to the development of new service offerings and enhancements to existing portfolios in collaboration with product and portfolio teams.
* Participate in industry events, internal training, and community initiatives to evangelize Dell's services solutions and maintain industry-leading knowledge.
* Ensure a smooth transition from presales to delivery, facilitating knowledge transfer and alignment with delivery teams.
